Offering a diverse line-up of musical acts, festival-goers looking for an eclectic experience should take a
flight to Ireland this summer.
Described as Ireland's boutique music event, the three-day Electric Picnic music festival runs from September 1st to 3rd across seven stages and is held in the 600-acre estate of Stradbally Hall in County Laois.
Just an hour outside of
Dublin, festival-goers can enjoy the eclectic festival line-up which includes performances by Massive Attack, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and Groove Armada, as well as DJ Shadow, Damien Rice, Rufus Wainwright and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The Dublin Gospel Choir and Gary Numan will also make an appearance at the festival.
The festivities aside from the music are set to include theatre, comedy and a cinema, as well as the unique, silent disco where everyone can get down and dance wearing wireless headphones.
