Runners who
fly to Lisbon this September could have the opportunity to take part in one of the city's most spectacular sporting events.
Join the crowds of thousands on September 24th as they make their way over the magnificent landmark Vasco de Gama Bridge, as part of either the seventh annual RTP Portugal Half Marathon or the EDP Mini Marathon.
Runners of all ages and abilities can sign up for these scenic races, which take participants through some of the most picturesque parts of
Lisbon, both modern and ancient.
Those running the Half Marathon course will all be issued with a timing chip, to be tied to their shoe, which will accurately record their race time.
Whether competing in the eight kilometre Mini Marathon or the 21 kilometre Half Marathon, all participants will receive a t-shirt with their race number and a medal for finishing the course, as well as a unique view of this beautiful Portuguese city.
