Fly to Barcelona in October and you could catch some of the best in international documentary making at the sixth annual International Documentary Film Festival of Barcelona.
Otherwise known as Docupolis, the five-day film event takes place between October 4th and 8th this year at the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona, or CCCB as it is commonly known.
Offering visitors to
Barcelona the opportunity to view a whole range of documentaries from the entertaining to the educational, Docupolis aims to "open new spaces" and continue delineating ways of representing culture and recovering memory, which could prove quite an educating experience.
Located next to Barcelona's Museum of Contemporary Art, (MACBA) the CCCB's vast and beautiful halls are used for everything from art exhibitions to concerts and dance performances as well as alternative festivals such as Docupolis.
This year's programme is yet to be published but more information on what to expect can be found at the
Docupolis website.
