Icelandair is offering customers flying from Glasgow to the US the unique opportunity of a free journey break in Iceland.
The airline is offering those flying to
New York,
Boston, Baltimore/Washington DC, Minneapolis,
Orlando and
San Francisco from Scotland throughout June, July and August the chance to take advantage of a short stop-over in Iceland and enjoy a free tour.
Travellers can choose to break their transatlantic flight with either a dip in the famous therapeutic waters of the Blue Lagoon or take a whale watching trip, free of charge, both of which include airport transfers.
Within an hour of arriving in Iceland passengers can be on the Moby Dick whale watching tour, which boasts a 98 per cent successful spotting rate, or bathing in the steaming lagoon, which has towels on site available for hire.
The
Icelandair tour offers are only available on flights originating in Glasgow with same-day connections to the USA.
