Antiques experts and art lovers should take a
flight to Amsterdam in November for the 20th annual Art and Antiques Fair of the Low Countries, known as pAn.
Held from November 19th to 25th in the Parkhal of the Amsterdam RAI, the fair offers visitors the chance to browse everything from Greek, Roman and Asiatic art to ethnographic and contemporary art as well as antique and modern silver, glassware and jewellery.
There will also be prints and drawings, maps, manuscripts, paintings and sculptures from the 16th century to the present day, alongside icons, ceramics, porcelain and photography, as well as furniture from the 17th century to the Art Deco period.
The fair, which will display works from more than 100 dealers across
the Netherlands,
Luxembourg and
Belgium, will also have over eighty experts in 12 different areas to vet the various objects for quality, condition and authenticity, before they are put on show.
Tickets cost €12.50 (£8.65) with discounts for students and children over 12-years-old, those under 12 accompanied by an adult are admitted free.
