Travellers planning to
fly to Scotland this November should make their way to Glasgow for the city's annual fireworks display.
Held annually on November 5th as part of the UK's celebration of Guy Fawkes Night, the Glasgow Fireworks festival is free, family-orientated event with an unparalleled display of pyrotechnics.
Visitors to
Scotland should make their way to Glasgow Green for the best experience of the fireworks festivities which include entertainment from live bands, laser light shows and a fun fair.
The fireworks display itself, which is set to music against the backdrop of the iconic Winter Gardens, is a highly choreographed affair, with more than 50,000 colourful explosions fired into the city sky.
The elegant Victorian glasshouses of the Winter Gardens, which are attached to Glasgow's People's Palace on the edge of Glasow Green, offer visitors the opportunity to admire the beauty of its architecture as well as the tropical plants and flowers contained within it.
