Singapore Airlines has announced it is to add two new European destinations to its flight schedule.
From this week the airline will be operating three flights per week to
Milan and
Barcelona from its
Singapore hub.
The addition of these destinations means that
Singapore Airlines can now offer a unique service as the only carrier flying between the Asian Pacific region and both Mediterranean cities.
The flights using Boeing B777-200ER (Extended Range) aircraft will fly out of Singapore on Monday, Wednesday Friday evenings, arriving into Malpensa Airport in Milan the following morning, from where the flight will continue onto Barcelona.
Now offering 81 flights per week to 12 different European cities, the total number of destinations in
Singapore Airlines' network is now 65, across 35 different countries.
The carrier also recently announced the introduction of an exclusive new Indian menu for its first class passengers flying between Singapore and New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
