Presenting visitors to
San Francisco with a unique opportunity to see an alternative view of life and culture in North America, the American Indian Film Festival will run this year from November 4th to 11th.
Those planning to
fly to San Francisco in November can catch any number of film screenings, which will be held over the eight day festival, at the UA Galaxy Theatre or in the historic setting of the Palace of Fine Arts.
For over 30 years the
San Francisco film festival has given a platform to ground-breaking documentaries and films from Native American people and last year saw the screening of 62 films, documentaries and shorts as well as four independent feature films.
Addressing a broad range of subjects from the personal to the universal, visitors to
San Francisco have the chance to witness the stories of those who often go unnoticed within the American landscape.
The festival will also include live performances and entertainment from a range of native musicians, poets and comedians.
