Travellers taking
flight to Amsterdam in November may be interested to know that the city is set to play host to one of the world's leading international documentary film festivals.
This year taking place from November 23rd until December 3rd, the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam is set to screen over 180 films, at various locations around the city, featuring the best in recent international documentary and home-grown categories.
Every year the festival presents a range of awards for the best feature-length documentary, for the best documentary under 60 minutes and best film under 30 minutes, as well as a first appearance award for the best documentary debut and a special jury award.
