A prehistoric experience awaits those who
fly to Sydney this November as the Australian Museum plays host to an exciting new dinosaur exhibition.
The show, Dinosaur Unearthed, which will run until November 19th, is a special live discovery exhibition focusing on a large plant-eating dinosaur called Centrosaurus, which roamed across Canada around 75 million years ago.
Visitors to the
Sydney museum can witness as a team of specialists dig the bones of the Centrosaurus from slabs of rock brought over from Canada, in a special laboratory within the exhibition.
The fossilised bones will then be on display offering visitors the unique experience to touch dinosaur remains, before staff attempt to reconstruct a full dinosaur skeleton from the excavated remains
Palaeontologists will be on hand to answer visitors' questions, while for a more hands-on experience visitors can take part in mock fossil digs and help reconstruct a giant wooden Stegosaurus.
