For a seasonal treat, those planning to
fly to Chicago during November or December should pay a visit to the city's Lincoln Park Zoo to see some special seasonal creatures.
From November 24th until the beginning of January the zoo will be lit-up with a whole host of illuminated animal figures, as the annual Zoolights celebration brings some seasonal magic to the zoo and its many wild and wonderful inhabitants.
Along with the colourful light displays, visitors to
Chicago can also enjoy a variety of holiday activities, from arts and crafts to story-telling, special safari rides and laser light shows, as well as the opportunity to visit Santa.
The zoo also offers visitors and holidaymakers the chance to indulge in some animal inspired Christmas shopping at the zoo mall, Wild Things.
For more information about Zoolights visit the
Lincoln Park Zoo website.
