A trip to one of
Miami's oldest cultural landmarks at the end of November could bring a few welcome surprises for travellers planning to fly to Florida.
From November 27th to December 3rd the historic Tower Theatre cinema will play host to the fifth Miami Short Film Festival.
Showcasing some of the best short film talent from around the world, including contributions from India, Japan and Australia, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, the festival offers visitors to
Miami a unique insight into the art form, which has launched the careers of such luminaries as Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola and Mel Brooks.
Expect to see original scripts, new film and cinematography techniques as well as a whole range of new perspectives as the contributors compete for the usual prizes, such as best documentary, best experimental film and best narrative short film.
