Those thinking about catching a
flight to Dublin in November could just been given another reason to do so – the Dublin Toy and Train Fair.
Taking place at Clontarf Castle on November 11th, between 10:00 and 17:00 local time, the fair will offer access to a range of classic toys, including diecast models by Corgi and Dinky, as well as antique dolls and teddy bears, according to VisitDublin.
Other toys expected to feature at the fair include model trains from makers such as Hornby, Triang, Trix and Marklin.
However, for those who are not interested in collectables, the 12th century Clontarf Castle could be well worth a visit in its own right.
Approximately two miles away from
Dublin, the hotel states that it offers its guests "all the charm and splendour of a unique and royal experience".
It also provides a culinary experience with a twist as its Templars Bistro serves its selection of wines in medieval-style pewter goblets.
