Travellers wanting to hop on a
flight to Sydney and soak up some summer sun will find the annual Homebake festival a treat for all the senses.
Taking place on Saturday December 2nd at the Domain, a historical park in the heart of the city, the festival promotes the musical talents of local bands ranging from up and coming new artists to those who have made it on the international stage.
On this year's roster, stars such as rock outfit Silverchair and Abba tribute act Bjorn Again rub shoulders with exciting new bands including electro-rockers The Presets and the acclaimed Gotye.
Festival-goers also have the opportunity to sample
Sydney's burgeoning film scene, with the Cinema Tent - managed by actor, director and composer Kieran Darcy-Smith - showcasing the work of local filmmakers.
With this year's Homebake set to focus on the theme of partying, holidaymakers looking for a great day out for all the family will find that there's something for everyone at one of Australia's most prominent music events.

Homebake website for more details.
