Britons looking to
fly to Boston this winter could try something different and watch a re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party.
The event celebrates an incident in 1773 when men dressed as Mohawk Indians stormed the ships in Boston harbour and threw their cargoes of tea into the sea as an act of rebellion against the British government.
Travellers eager to take part the re-enactment on December 11th can do so, reliving one of the most famous events in Boston's history.
The run-up to the main spectacle involves a protest outside the city's Old South Meeting House, the biggest building in colonial
Boston, with a fife and drums concert finishing off the debate.
Visitors unsure of their lines in the main debate need not worry, as they will be given cards to speak from for the duration.

the Boston tourist website.
