Britons hopping on a
flight to Frankfurt this winter should take the time to visit the city's Christmas fair.
The fair consists of a variety of market stalls strewn across the Romerberg, Paulsplatz and River Main areas of
Frankfurt between November 23rd and December 21st.
Visitors can indulge their senses in traditional Christmas food, drink and gifts from over 200 vendors and see St Nicholas visit the fair for a day on December 6th.
In addition, time-honoured ceremonies such as the playing of the tower horns and the ringing of the city's church bells can also be witnessed.
Every weekend of the fair sees special advent concerts celebrating Christmas in an international style, ensuring that there is something for everyone to see.
Have a look at
the Frankfurt tourist website for more details.
