Make a splash in Sydney

Make a splash in Sydney
Travellers flying to Sydney for some fun in the sun this December could compete for thousands of dollars worth of prizes in the annual Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim.

Over 1,000 competitors take part in various races between Bondi Beach and Bronte Beach, battling for cash prizes and the chance to win a trip to next year's Fiji and Vanuatu Ocean Swim.

Starting on Bondi Beach on December 3rd, swimmers must make their way through over two kilometres of clear blue ocean water, making completion of the course no mean feat.

After the race, both swimmers and spectators can enjoy the delights of one of the barbecues that Australia is world-famous for at the Bronte Surf Club.

The Bondi and Bronte surf lifesaving clubs in Sydney were the first in the world to be established back in the early 1900s and the race has become a classic in the Australian swim calendar.

For more information, see the Bondi to Bronte website.
