Travellers will soon be able to take advantage of more flights from
the US to
Mexico and the Caribbean after
Delta Air Lines announced the addition of new flights to the two regions.
From December 1st, the airline will operate flights from
Orlando and Salt Lake City to Mexico City.
December 13th will see Delta Air Lines add flights between Atlanta and Pointe a Pitre,
Guadeloupe in the French West.
"Delta is a customer favourite for travel between the US and destinations across Latin America and the
Caribbean, thanks to the expanding scope of our network and the number of unique and exciting destinations we serve," said Glen Hauenstein, executive vice president of network planning and revenue management for Delta Air Lines.
The expansion is part of a larger programme to add more than 50 new routes to Latin America and Caribbean.
Delta Air Lines hopes to provide 246 weekly flights to 19 Mexican destinations and 282 weekly flights to 23 Caribbean destinations from next March.
