A night to remember in Frankfurt

Britons looking to grab a flight to Frankfurt in Germany this December could be in for a treat at this year's Night of the Proms.

Held at the Festhalle on the 21st and 22nd, this unique concert features performances from some of the biggest names in pop and classical music.

This year's event stars artists including Mike Oldfield, OMD, Ike Turner, Chico and the Gypsies, Tony Henry, Il Novecento, Robert Groslot, Fine Fleur and John Miles.

As a result, Night of the Proms tends to have a more informal atmosphere than standard classical concerts, with younger members of the audience able to stand in front of the main stage.

For those unable to make the Frankfurt leg of the tour, other performances - with varying line-ups – take place across Europe, including in cities throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.
