Shopping fans looking to pick up gifts in a unique setting this yuletide could hop on a
flight to Brussels for its Christmas market.
Between December 1st and January 1st, a host of stalls selling everything from food to handicrafts set up shop in the heart of the city to offer visitors a range of potential presents to choose from.
Shoppers can buy handcrafted decorations, toys and more for their loved ones, as well as stopping for traditional Christmas treats such as panetone from Italy, gluhwein from Germany, glogg from Scandinavia and the classic British pudding.
And visitors who have some energy left over can enjoy a stint of skating on the ice rink that appears in
Brussels every year, as well as a number of thrilling fairground rides.
With shops remaining open throughout every weekend of the market and attractions for children and adults alike, the market presents an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy the delights of
Brussels city centre.
