Travellers are continuing to land in
Thailand after yesterday's military coup in the country's capital.
The Foreign Office has not issued advice against Britons travelling to
Bangkok or other parts of the country as a result of the event.
"All international flights into Thailand and domestic services are operating," a spokeswoman for
Thai Airways told the Times.
"We're offering passengers a free postponement for those travelling up to Sunday, as long as there's availability, but we're not offering refunds, because the Foreign Office has not changed its advice."
Earlier this month,
Thai Airways launched its Super Deals promotion, which offers discounted domestic and international flights to travellers booking online through its website.
The airline says that those who are also members of its Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer scheme can accumulate air miles on these discounted flights.
