Want to find out about the latest innovations in the world of the arts? Catch a
flight to Paris and do just that at the annual Festival d'Automne.
Already underway, the event runs until December 19th and features a wide range of avant-garde and experimental exhibitions, screenings, performances and more in venues across the city.
It focuses on up-and-coming talent rather than long-established artists, providing much scope for discovering the next big thing in the world of the arts.
This year's festival focuses on work from
the US and
Mongolia, but also draws upon film, theatre, literature and more from other countries across the globe.
It particularly tries to promote the work of those from non-western countries, concentrating on regions such as
Australia,
Egypt and
South Africa, among others, guaranteeing a cosmopolitan feel to this
Paris festival.
For more information and a full programme of events, see the
Festival d'Automne website.
