Enjoy Australia's biggest short film festival by hopping on a
flight to Sydney for the annual Flickerfest event.
Held on Bondi Beach between January 5th and 14th, the festival boasts work by a number of new and established directors and producers from across the globe.
With past submissions to the festival including those from filmmakers living in
Brazil,
Thailand and
Romania, film fans will be able to enjoy a wide array of work from some of the most intriguing countries in the world.
Films compete for numerous cash prizes in several categories, including short documentaries, Australian films and more.
The festival provides a platform for the cream of the crop to display their wares nationally, as the event tours a host of cities in Australia after the main Sydney event, including
Melbourne,
Perth and
Canberra, among others.
Visitors to
Sydney will also be able to witness and take part in side events, including forums and workshops with acclaimed names from the world of film.
