Spicy dancing in Las Vegas

Fans of salsa dancing will be able to see the cream of the world's talent at the annual World Salsa Championships in Las Vegas this December.

Between December 13th and 16th, thousands of competitors will descend on the city to battle it out for the top title in this second year of the contest.

Dancers from countries as diverse as Australia and Colombia will compete in front of more than 9,000 spectators at the Orleans Arena for prizes worth up to $20,000 in each category - group and individual (in New York and Los Angeles styles) and groups/cabaret.

Seminars, daily performances and other events led by world-leading salsa experts will also be held at this Las Vegas contest, providing something for even the most obsessed salsa fans.

And for those looking to stay in Las Vegas before or after the main competition, there is always something to experience among the city's extensive array of casinos, shopping malls, bars, restaurants and running events.
