Swiss International Air Lines has announced the addition of extra flights to its winter timetable.
It will offer additional flights on routes between Zurich and the Americas,
Africa and the
Middle East, including the cities of Miami and
Nairobi.
The airline is also set to fly two new routes through a partnership with
Lufthansa, operating between
Geneva and the German cities of Hamburg and Stuttgart.
And as a member of the Star Alliance, the carrier will be able to move in more partner airlines to the Swiss Terminal at Zurich Airport, offering greater convenience for passengers.
From the end of October, travellers will be able to use the Swiss Terminal to check in for flights with
Austrian Airlines,
United Airlines and
Scandinavian Airlines, among others.
Yesterday,
Swiss International Air Lines also announced that it is installing new, lighter seats on its Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft, providing extra legroom and comfort for passengers.
