Looking for novel ways to decorate your Christmas tree this yuletide? Get some tips by seeing how the experts do it at the Christmas Tree Festival in
Geneva between November 30th and January 7th.
Also known as Arbres et Lumieres, this event gives artists the chance to express their own unique take on the beauty of festive trees.
Artists use tools such as colour, light, music and materials to decorate 23 trees throughout
Geneva in some of the most eye-catching ways possible.
Judges choose the trees that go on display from a wide range of submissions by artists from both
Switzerland and beyond.
Previous trees displayed at this
Geneva festival have had coloured lights projected onto them to completely reinvent their appearance, while one memorable entry saw 16 ft mirrored walls surrounding three poplars give the impression of a never-ending forest stretching off into the distance.
