Emirates has announced further awards for its business class services in two separate ceremonies.
The airline won the title of best business airline from the Guardian group of newspapers and trade publication TTG Asia.
"We cherish every award we receive and these two in particular represent a powerful endorsement from the discerning business travelling community and our travel trade partners in major regions of the world," commented Ghaith Al Ghaith, executive vice president of commercial operations worldwide for
Emirates.
Passengers who travel business class with the Middle Eastern airline can expect to enjoy new lie-flat seats, exclusive check-in procedures, a range of luxury lounges and personal inflight satellite telephones, among other perks.
Last week,
Emirates confirmed that it had been appointed the official airline of the Dubai Ladies Masters 2006, the first European tour event for ladies to be hosted in the
Middle East.
