Visitors to
New York this winter will be able to witness the city's most spectacular light show at Grand Central Station.
Between December 1st and 31st, the constellations of the winter zodiac are projected onto the station's 125-ft high ceiling every 30 minutes, bearing more than a passing resemble to the sights found in a planetarium.
The laser show is also set to fitting music, providing a unique way for visitors to
New York and daily commuters to pass the time while waiting for a train connection.
During this period, visitors to the station can also peruse its Holiday Gift Fair, where more than 70 stallholders sell an array of crafted goods, jewellery, clothing, accessories and toys perfect as Christmas presents.
Travellers arriving in
New York a little earlier will also be able to experience Popular Science magazine's showcase of the year's best hi-tech innovations between November 7th and 9th in Grand Central Station's Vanderbilt Hall.
For more information, see the
Grand Central Station website.
