Travellers wanting to check out the best that
Sydney has to offer in the summer should head out to the city for its annual Australia Day celebrations.
While this national day is celebrated across the country,
Sydney pushes the boat out in more ways than one in order to mark the occasion with as much style as possible.
Numerous options await those flying to the city for January 26th, with travellers able to witness the spectacular sights of Darling Harbour's mass party with hundreds of thousands of revellers or enjoy unique jazz concerts in Pyrmont Point Park and Johnstons Bay.
Other attractions include the Australia Day Regatta and the hugely popular Ferrython contest, where brightly decorated First Fleet ferries fight it out to win the title of Ferry Champion.
Of course, visitors will also be able to enjoy the usual sights and sounds of
Sydney outside of the main celebrations, with enough bars, restaurants, shops and more to whet the appetite of any tourist finding themselves in one of the most popular holiday spots in the world.

official Australia Day website.
