Delta Air Lines has announced a partnership with Nintendo that will see passengers able to download free video game demos at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Owners of the handheld Nintendo DS console will gain access to demos for games such as Brain Age, Elite Beat Agents and Clubhouse games through a wireless connection in
Delta Air Lines terminals at the airport.
Special DS Download Stations will be set up in these terminals, allowing DS owners to download the games by standing a few feet away from the stations.
"Delta is excited to partner with Nintendo, makers of some of the most popular video games of all time, to provide yet another innovative entertainment offering to travellers," commented Joan Vincenz, managing director of product marketing for
Delta Air Lines.
Nintendo's DS console is one of the most popular of its kind in the world, selling nearly 27 million units so far.
The company is set to launch its new Wii gaming console in the UK next month, after its launch in
the US earlier this week saw most stores sell out of the product within a short space of time.
