Families thinking of catching a
flight to New York next spring might want to make sure their trip coincides with the New York International Children's Film Festival.
Taking place between March 2nd and 18th, 2007 will mark the tenth year of this popular event and so children and adults alike can look forward to a particularly entertaining festival.
Films are aimed at everyone between the ages of three and 18, but are also enjoyed by slightly older kids.
Visitors to
New York can expect to see children's films from a range of genres, with work by both well-known and new directors set to be displayed.
Every year, the festival attracts more than 25,000 children, adults and professionals with a showcase of over 100 new films, premieres, retrospectives and short features, as well as a range of workshops and a special awards ceremony.
