Travellers heading to
Budapest next March might want to check out the annual Spring Festival, a celebration of music, dance, theatre and more.
Held between March 16th and April 1st, this popular event attracts crowds of visitors to
Budapest to see performances by a range of new and established musicians and performers.
World-famous orchestras, opera singers, experimental dancers and contemporary artists all convene in Hungary's capital to welcome the new season in style.
Just a few of the events taking place at the festival include an outdoor parade and carnival, a concert by the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, a production of Homer's Odyssey, the premiere of the dance version of Gone With The Wind and the Altar Boyz operetta show.
Performances take place at various venues around the city, giving attendees the opportunities to see something of
Budapest in between shows.
Take a look at the
Budapest Spring Festival website for more information.
