Get film fever in Copenhagen

Holidaymakers intending to catch a flight to Copenhagen next spring might want to look out for the NatFilm Festival between March 23rd and April 1st.

This acclaimed event takes place across Denmark, but visitors to the country will be able to get the most out of the festival in the capital city.

A wide variety of films are displayed in cinemas across Copenhagen, ranging from Hollywood pictures to some of the best work from up-and-coming directorial and acting talents.

Reflecting this diversity, a number of categories are put in place to help cinema-goers identify the films they would most like to see, with last year's sections including Japan, Made in Britain, Latin Beats, Sound and Vision, and American Independents, among others.

The NatFilm Festival places a special emphasis on young Danish talent, meaning that festival attendees may find themselves watching films by the next big thing – and they will be able to say that they saw it first in Copenhagen.
