Grab an arty bargain in Paris
Got a passion for art and antiques? Try taking a flight to Paris for the annual Pavilion Art and Antiques Fair between March 28th and April 1st for a potentially fruitful holiday.
More than 80 dealers from across the globe display wares of all shapes and sizes at the Tuileries Gardens during this event and visitors to Paris could find their dream bargain among the various treasures on show.
Products such as furniture, drawings, paintings, sculptures and antiquities are up for grabs at the fair, as well as items of photography, primitive art objects, Asian art, contemporary glass, jewellery, silver items, carpets and tapestries.
Around 30,000 eager art lovers turn up for the Pavilion Art and Antiques Fair every year so travellers should make sure they get there early for the most coveted items.
The fair also coincides with the popular Art Paris exhibition of contemporary art at the Grand Palais – allowing visitors to the city an extra opportunity to indulge the art connoisseur within.
