Music lovers looking to experience some top quality songwriting in a nearby locale could try hopping on a
flight to Belfast for the annual Belfast Nashville Songwriters' Festival.
This unique event takes place across the capital city between February 21st and 25th, and involves more than 40 performances from artists hailing from both sides of the Atlantic.
The next event is set to feature the likes of Paul Overstreet, Lee Roy Parnell, James Dean Hicks, Bap Kennedy, Tommy Sands, the Broken String Band and many more.
A number of songwriting workshops will also take place during the event, led by experts, while a photographic exhibition and talks covering the historical links between
Belfast and Nashville can also be attended by visitors.
The festival offers a great opportunity for music enthusiasts to see their heroes in action – and perhaps spot the stars of the future.
