Flamenco fans wanting to see the cream of the world's crop of dancing superstars should head to
Spain for the Jerez Flamenco Festival at the Teatro Villamarta and Sala Compania.
Between February 23rd and March 10th, visitors to
Spain will have the opportunity to check out leading flamenco figures such as Maria Pages, Angeles Gabaldon and dancers from the Antonio Marquez Company.
In addition to the mesmerising dancing, flamenco fans will be able to see some of the greatest guitar players in the field in action, with a number of purely instrumental concerts planned.
Festival-goers will also be able to attend a series of workshops, talks and more dedicated to the art of flamenco, with a number of special events for children taking place too.
Visitors to
Spain wanting to take their passion for flamenco a step further can also talk to experts and check out specialist schools where they can take a wide range of courses on all aspects of the fiery dance.
