Art lovers looking for something to add to their collections should hop on a
flight to Chicago and check out one of the biggest art fairs in the
United States.
The Art Chicago fair is held between April 26th and 30th at The Merchandise Mart and attracts thousands of would-be buyers every year.
Work taken from 125 of world's best galleries will go on display in
Chicago, consisting of thousands of paintings and other pieces by both well-known and up-and-coming artists.
Prices range from the affordable $100 (£51) mark to valuations of millions of dollars per piece.
In addition to the main business of buying and selling paintings, attendees will also be able to visit a number of special events, including graduate art exhibitions, children's activities, seminars and talks.
Art Chicago is part of a citywide celebration known as ARTropolis, which consists of a host of musical, theatre, dance, art, antiques and cultural events taking place at venues across
Chicago.
