Although many travellers consider the typical attractions of
Las Vegas to be its bustling nightlife, round-the-clock entertainment and spectacular casinos, the city will host something a little lighter this spring.
The Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz and Rhythm and Blues Festival will take place on April 20th and 21st, on the Friday evening and all day Saturday at Summerlin's Hills Park.
Artists taking part on Friday include Dazz Band, Barkays and George Duke, while Nick Colionne, Philippe Saisse and Urban Jazz Coalition feature on the second day.
Michael Schivo, a representative for the organisers, comments: "The Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz and Rhythm and Blues Festival continues to spiral itself into a very special light."
He adds that the "one-of-a-kind" nature of
Las Vegas means that the festival will soon rank among other major European and
US events.
