San Francisco is set to host the International Beer Festival on April 28th 2007, offering lovers of the amber nectar the chance to sip, quaff and swill to their hearts' content.
With more than 200 beers available to tickle the tastebuds, the
US event could end up a merry affair, although live music and food are also on offer to keep the throngs entertained.
Specialist brews - some familiar and some not-so-familiar - range from
Thailand's Chang and
San Francisco's own Albatross Lager to Newcastle Brown Ale, from rather closer to home, notes Whatsonwhen.
For revellers who cannot wait another half a year for
Munich's Oktoberfest, Weiss Beer from
Germany is also available to please the palette.
Tickets for the event go on sale on March 17th 2007, while the cost of admittance is all inclusive, meaning that those attending the event will never have to worry about it being their round.
