Arts galore in Singapore

With around 75 performances from countries around the globe making up the main part of this event, attendees could be spoilt for choice, while a blend of innovation, experimentation and tradition will keep them on their toes throughout.

Additionally, fusions of various styles can often be seen, as jazz meets ancient Asian music, while the media of movement, text sound and light are all explored.

The official tourist website notes that it is the existence and interplay of contrasts such as these that makes Singapore a "unique" place to visit, with a diverse and rich ethnic and cultural history.
