British Airways has announced that it will complete the transformation of its first-class cabins on long-haul aircraft next month.
The process, which began in November 2006, has seen the introduction of personalised "turndown" services on board its later flights, including the provision of Egyptian cotton bedding and aromatherapy products for better sleep.
In addition, the Anya Hindmarch-designed washbag available to first-class
British Airways customers has been revamped and includes make-up products from the Kiehl Since 1851 range.
Menus have been changed to offer more canapes and low-fat options for late-night departures, along with a new Catch of the Day option - only available for flights departing from
London - that is made with fresh fish in conjunction with the Loch Fyne restaurant.
Other changes expected to be made by
British Airways over the next 18 months include the relaunch of Club World and the introduction of brand new on-demand inflight entertainment options.
