Recent announcements of new UK flights have been reaffirmed by
bmi subsidiary bmi regional.
It confirmed that the summer timetable will see extra services for flights between Scotland and
Manchester Airport and
Leeds-Bradford Airport.
There will be two extra return flights between Manchester and Aberdeen, with those travelling to
Edinburgh and
Glasgow also increasing to seven and five services a day respectively.
A new early flight between Edinburgh and Leeds-Bradford will also be included in the new timetable.
Internationally, new flights to destinations such as
Brussels,
Kristiansand,
Zurich,
Copenhagen and Lille will be launched.
"We continue to expand and develop our regional network of full-service, non-stop flights to key destinations in the UK and Europe," commented Stewart Adams, managing director of bmi regional.
The airline said last week that it intends to improve its offerings for diamond club members in an effort to reward the loyalty of its frequent flyers.
