Air passengers travelling through
Glasgow Airport in the next week will be able to catch a glimpse of the world-famous Uefa Cup.
The cup has been put on display at the hub following the draw for the quarter and semi-finals of the football tournament last Friday.
It will remain on show until Sunday and marks the start of the run-up to the final at Hampden Park on May 16th.
"The decision to host the final in Glasgow is a great boost to the city's tourism industry and the team at Glasgow Airport is looking forward to playing its part in ensuring visiting fans get a warm welcome to Glasgow," Gordon Dewar, managing director of the airport, told the Evening Times.
Football fans from across the globe are expected to travel to
Glasgow for the final. It will be hosting the final for the first time, but has previously seen finals for five European tournaments take place in the city.
