Music festivals are now more popular then ever before, so why not combine the excitement of a festival with a summer break in
Madrid?
The Metrorock Festival is set to take place on June 22nd and 23rd this year at the Juan Carlos I Park, and is sure to feature a host of international acts that will thrill and entertain.
More than 30,000 people attend the festival every year, with 2006's line-up featuring the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Sons and Daughters, Paul Weller, The Charlatans and OK Go.
In addition, a wide array of DJs will play in the clubbing area of the festival for those who prefer more dance-friendly music.
This year's line-up is rumoured to include stars such as Yorkshire sensations Arctic Monkeys, so keep an eye on the
Metrorock website for announcements of the full roster and when you can buy tickets from.
