Brits looking for an ultra-modern music festival to sink their teeth into this summer should check out the Sonar International Festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia in
Barcelona.
Taking place between June 14th and 16th, this massive event sees bands and artists adept at using technology in their music play a series of gigs at the CCCB, MACBA and Centre d'art Santa Monica.
This year's event is set to feature the likes of the Beastie Boys, Mogwai, Timo Maas, Dizzee Rascal, Dave Clarke, New York Pony Club and many more.
In addition, a number of showcases displaying new talent from around the world will take place, with events from BBC Radio 1, Beijing Waves, Innervisions and Noble Label pencilled in for the festival.
With a host of conferences, exhibitions, screenings and concerts set to take place day and night, visitors to
Barcelona will find much to see and do during this popular event.
