Scandinavian Airlines subsidiary SAS Braathens has announced the launch of a new service between
London City Airport and
Oslo.
Flying twice a day, the new flights will begin on August 28th and add to existing services to Oslo from
Heathrow Airport.
While the new route is expected to be popular with all kinds of travellers, it is anticipated to be particularly attractive to business passengers.
"Many of our London passengers are business travellers with high demands for an efficient and convenient journey. We are dedicated to fulfilling these needs and are therefore launching this route to London City," commented Johnny Skoglund, vice president of SAS Braathens.
Last month,
Scandinavian Airlines announced that it is to begin new services to
Stockholm from
Glasgow and
Bristol later this year.
It also said that it intends to launch flights on eight other European routes over the course of 2007.
