Looking for the perfect fun-filled weekend to indulge in this summer? Try
flying to Ireland for the annual Oxegen music festival on July 7th and 8th.
This immensely popular event brings some of the biggest bands and artists in the world to the Punchestown Racecourse in Naas, County Kildare, with a line-up to suit most musical tastes.
Visitors to
Ireland will be able to catch performances from the likes of Muse, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Arcade Fire, Scissor Sisters, Wu Tang Clan, Mika, Bloc Party and many more.
In true festival style, the campsite will open early on Friday July 6th for those eager to get the best spot for their tent and begin the festivities before the bands start performing the next day.
A host of food stalls offering everything from curries and gourmet snacks to chips and burgers will be on hand to satisfy revellers' hunger pangs, while those lacking the basic skills required to put up their own tent can bag ready-pitched tents in the Tangerine Fields area of the site.
