Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is extending its Flying Without Fear (FWF) course to
Leeds-Bradford Airport this simmer.
The one-day courses will begin on June 17th in conjunction with FWF Limited and will help those with a fear of flying to overcome their struggles and become able to step on a plane without suffering from anxiety.
For those who become confident enough during the course a 45-minute optional flight is available at the end of the day.
The course includes an optional 45-minute flight at the end of the session and is led by
Virgin Atlantic captains and a psychotherapist. Successful participants get a certificate signed by Sir Richard Branson at the end of the course.
"We've had a substantial number of requests over many years to bring the FWF courses to Yorkshire," commented Richard Conway, director of FWF Limited.
"Since the courses began ten years ago, it has had some amazing results with a success rate in excess of 98 per cent," he added.
Further courses at
Newcastle Airport,
Birmingham Airport,
Heathrow Airport and
Southampton Airport are set to be announced in the near future.
