Want a holiday filled with summer evenings devoted to some of the best dance, music and theatre around? Try hopping on a
flight to Lyon for the annual Les Nuits de Fourviere event.
Taking place between June 8th and August 4th, this popular event sees thousands of people flock to Fourviere in
Lyon for a host of cultural shows by performers hailing from around the world.
The shows take place in two Roman amphitheatres and feature a varied mix of live contemporary music, opera, plays, dance shows and circus-style performances designed to appeal to all ages.
Big stars set to perform this year include Arcade Fire, Lou Reed, Antony & The Johnsons, Air and Patti Smith, with special events centring on arts as diverse as reggae, the culture of Bali and the art of flamenco also confirmed.
