Virgin Atlantic has this week launched new flights between
Heathrow Airport and O'Hare International Airport in
Chicago.
The new daily service represents the tenth
US destination for the airline - increasing capacity to the country by ten per cent - and its 27th internationally.
Further flights to the US in the form of services to
Washington are set to be launched by
Virgin Atlantic later this week, underlining its commitment to serving travellers wishing to explore more of the country.
"With its mix of business hotels and conference centres, and extensive festivals and events, Chicago appeals to all travellers and we have already seen very good forward bookings for the first few months," commented Virgin Atlantic chairman Sir Richard Branson.
The top sights in
Chicago include its spectacular architecture and a wide range of cultural attractions, including museums, galleries and regular live music performances.
Its lakefront parks and the Navy Pier also offer a host of things to see and do for locals and visitors alike.
